What We Do

CYA Is a non-denominational, nonprofit organization that has operated within the Stephen Foster Community Center since 1925. The building currently houses programs for seniors, children and the community. CYA provides a warm, loving environment for all those we serve.

Our Mission

The Catholic Youth Association of Pittsburgh, Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the residents of our service area by addressing the needs of our community and providing educational, recreational, nutritional and healthcare opportunities for neighborhood residents. CYA serves as a catalyst for community activities encouraging intergenerational programming and inter-agency cooperation.
